The Club was established in 2012, moving from its previous location in Lansdown, Bath
Peasedown Cricket Club had a spare football pitch. After levelling, seeding and waiting (!), the Croquet Club was born,
We have four full-sized lawns with beautiful views over the Somerset countryside
We share the grounds of Peasedown Cricket Club
In 2016 we joint-hosted, with Bath CC, the Tier 2 finals of the Golf Croquet World Team Championships. The national teams of Australia, the Czech-Moravian Republic, Germany Latvia, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland descended on the club for a week’s intense competition, eventually won by Australia, playing Spain in the final.

We have five accredited golf croquet coaches and two qualified referees
Beginners and improvers – tailor-made programmes

The strength of our membership enables us to compete with five League teams across the region
There are a number of internal Club tournaments to suit players at all skill levels – there’s a special tournament for beginners, so no-one is left out!
If tournaments or competitions are not for you – no problem: just join other members on Club days and enjoy social play
We can now bring croquet to your event:
Corporate events: every year we host groups such as the Rotary Club, WI and even a Cotswold stone-walling club. We can offer croquet fun (of course!) followed by food and laughter.
