SWF Handicap League WSM B v CPCC B – 23rd June 2024
Our B handicap team took a leisurely drive to the seaside on Sunday to face the WSM B team on there home ground. Our ‘A’ team having beaten them 12.5 to 7.5 earlier in the month meant our honour was at stake.
The weather was dry and overcast and ideal for playing croquet.
After the first round we realised just how long the grass was. However it did not stop us winning three of the four games.
Our success continued and by lunch time we were ahead 8-4
The seasiders failed to rally in the afternoon scoring only one and a half points thus leaving the Bees winners at 14.5 to 5.5
The whole team performed exceptionally well and none should be singled out. They were all stars.
