We lost 13-7 but unfortunately had two of our best players missing. Had these played it would certainly have been much closer. Even so, Ros, Charles, David and Des all managed one win, so no-one was disgraced. David did what is becoming his trade mark of beating the oppo’s best player for his only win! (Two matches in a row). Colin managed a bit better than against Taunton by winning three of his four singles and one double with Ros. We got better as the match went on having been 10-2 down at one point before winning five matches in the last eight.
